"The neutron bomb is the perfect refuge for the uncreative scriptwriter and film-maker because it is as impersonal as it gets."
I highly recommend Checking On My Sausages Cahiers-ish breakdown of The Dark Knight Rises.

Alright y'all, I need to save some money so instead of going out drinking this fine Saturday night, I'm going to livetweet (probably drunk) Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon.
With the exception of The Island, I have never disliked a Michael Bay movie. Armageddon is, like, in my top 250. I believe he is our Leni Reifenstahl - a deeply talented pesudo-fascist propagandist.
I have never seen a Transformers movie, cartoon, comic book, video game, or whatever. I don't really know what a Transformer is or what it transforms into (a truck, I think??), so come along with me on this journey to find out who exactly is transforming into what, when.

Expect it like 8ish EST.

Breaking Bad stuff
Well it's been two weeks without Breaking Bad and I don't know about y'all but I'm hitting Pinkman-esque withdrawal, so here's some BB videos to get us through it:
Minisode: The Break-In
Pizza of Destiny
Dead Freight alternate ending (check out the top comment)
Breaking Bad Prequel. This is canon.
Malcolm in the Meth-Lab
Breaking Bad Promo (The Simpsons)
Aaron Paul on The Price is Right
Linda's Film on Menstruation, a low point in Jonathan Banks's career
Minisode: Team Science
Breaking Bad is now on ABC Part 3
Do yourself a favor and watch the rest of the minisodes. Some great Betsy Brandt moments.

Sunglasses don't look cool when they're spinning at you like that, revealing their spindly anterior angles and their greasy translucent nosepads.
Nosepads are not cool.

Yo seriously how is this an image I'm seeing in a 2010 release. I know the '90s are back but this is some Matrix fan film action with a 60 mil budget.

The Ring in the Nose
"You put a ring through dad's nose and…"
Blood of Dracula (1957)
written by Ralph Thornton
"You can't just put a ring in his nose and lead him around."
Black Zoo (1963)
written by Aben Kandel & Herman Cohen
Both pictures were produced by Herman Cohen, so I'm wondering if he snuck this specific insult into Blood of Dracula, too.
