The Make-Up Mirror

The Appointment (1969)
dir. Sidney Lumet

Dawn of the Dead (1978)
dir. George Romero

  1. These are both such good shots. I kind of have a thing for shots of women looking into make-up mirrors, it's just instantly feminine.

    1. Yeah, they're gorgeous, aren't they? Something really small and intimate about it. Interesting to see where each shot winds up, too - The Appointment opens up to a busy panorama of beautiful women getting ready for a fashion show, Dawn of the Dead pulls out to a pretty disturbing shot of the woman alone, dolled up like a pin-up modeling a handgun.
