What is this shit
Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)
dir. Paul W.S. Anderson
An Open Letter To the Filmmaking Community:
Sunglasses don't look cool when they're spinning at you like that, revealing their spindly anterior angles and their greasy translucent nosepads.
Nosepads are not cool.
Peace and Love,

Yo seriously how is this an image I'm seeing in a 2010 release. I know the '90s are back but this is some Matrix fan film action with a 60 mil budget.

The Ring in the Nose
"You put a ring through dad's nose and…"
Blood of Dracula (1957)
written by Ralph Thornton
"You can't just put a ring in his nose and lead him around."
Black Zoo (1963)
written by Aben Kandel & Herman Cohen
Both pictures were produced by Herman Cohen, so I'm wondering if he snuck this specific insult into Blood of Dracula, too.

The Red Car
Polyester (1981)
dir. John Waters
The Big Lebowski (1998)
dir. Joel Coen
This one's from Jay Dub, who adds:
Both films feature a protagonist with absolutely no control over their situation, both The Dude and Francine barely have the mental faculties to grasp what's going on around them, and both spend most of their film in a drug-addled daze. TBL even features a number of characters that would be right at home in almost any Waters film: The Nihilists, Jesus Quintana, and David Thewlis, who spends his one scene essentially playing a caricature of John Waters.
